As a busy Personal Trainer, being very organised and looking professional is extremely important to keeping me on top of my appointments. Booking in sessions, writing workout plans, taking measurement and meals plans can all get a bit out of hand!

1. Numbers - FREE

  • Numbers is great for using spreadsheets, this comes in very handy when creating workout plans, food diaries and also weight loss graphs. It takes a little time getting used to how to use it properly, but when you get the hang of it, it's very easy to organise your clients session plans and progress!
2. Ubersense - FREE (PRO version & in store purchases available)

  • Ubersense allows you to film your clients performing exercises and replay it in 4 different slow motion settings. This is great as you can show clients their technique and how they can improve it. Another great thing about this app is you can draw on the video to show numbered angles, posture lines and much more to really point out what parts of the body need to be adjusted. As most people are visual learners, this app helps your clients actually see what they're doing wrong and how they can improve.
3. Posture - FREE (In store purchases available)

  • The posture app simply takes an image of your clients posture with lines also showing if the alignment is out and where it should be. From here you can adjust the lines to show which areas need aligning and then you can save the images and then compare them reach time it improves! Simple but effective.
4. 1 Rep Max - FREE

  • For any client looking to improve strength this app is great to work out your one rep max on exercises. Very simple layout and easy to use, however it doesn't show you the percentage of each maximum rep for example: the 70% or 60% of the one rep max. A positive factor is that you can log the 1RM of each exercise right in the app itself which you can easily review as strength increases.
5. Callander - Built in

  • Calendar is the easiest way to be efficient with planning appointments, upcoming sessions or meetings! The layout is simple and easy to use like most Apple apps. Integration in the iOS now means you can save appointment times straight from other apps and put them in the calendar app! Double booking will be a thing of the past!
